    The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. It is used for admission to MBA and PGDM programs at XLRI and other participating B-schools. XAT is known for its high difficulty level and requires thorough preparation.

    • Purpose: Used for admissions to management programs at XLRI and other participating institutes.
    • Conducting Body: XLRI, Jamshedpur
    • Exam Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) across Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge.  Jamshedpur. 
    • Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours). 
    • Scoring: The exam is scored out of 100, and percentile scores are used for admissions. 
    • Acceptance: XAT scores are accepted by over 250 participating B-schools, including XLRI and 10 other XAMI member colleges.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for admission to XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) Jamshedpur, you need to have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years in any discipline from a recognized university. There’s no minimum percentage requirement for your bachelor’s degree, but you must have passed all your subjects and be a qualified graduate. Final-year students can also apply, but their admission will be canceled if they fail any subjects.
